Hello! Welcome to Ms Dai’s Chinese Class

 你好!欢迎来到戴老师的中文课堂!

大家好!Hello! I am the Chinese teacher- Limei Dai. It’s a good season to say THANKS, so it’s my great honor to share my joyful and meaningful working experience in  Jesse Carson High School!

Thank you my colleagues and students. How time flies! It has been one and half year since I worked in Carson. So many faces, so many moving stories, so much joyful time I spend here. At first, I missed my family in China and got homesick. Thanks to all the faculty and our students, you treat me like your family member and give me the warmth of home. You prepared a considerate and lovely welcome party for me and helped me a lot. Soon, I got used to the life and work here!

Thank you, our Chinese Class goes well and our students learn a lot. We not only learn the culture and history of China, but get to know the fast paced development of China. We learn how to greet, how to describe beautiful things around us, how to order dishes and how to communicate with people in daily life. We had a field trip to Chinese restaurant and ordered food in Chinese, we made Chinese knot for our friends and family for best wishes, we wrote the Chinese calligraphy and painting about traditional arts, we learned Chinese Taiji Fan and Kung fu and performed it in the Cultural Evening to teachers and parents, we did so many activities which are the good experience and memories for the students of Chinese Class.

Thank you, my dear students, we experienced many things, you are always there. You are learning so quickly and I am so proud of you.

Thank you, my dear colleagues, Chinese Class success can’t be without your help. Thank you,  dear parents, you give me the trust and support to make our class better for our students.

Recently, I read a book about success: what is success, not for yourself, not for someone else, success is the thing that everyone did it and experienced it, everyone got what they need from it. So I want to say the success of Chinese Class belongs to everyone of Jesse Carson High School, belongs to you, my dear friends.

Let’s make the world more and more beautiful, more and more joyful!

Do hope you have a great school week! ☺
